finding memories

My brother and I are currently in the process of clearing out my parents house and I am finding many things that remind me of where my love of stitch and needlework is inherited. Part nature and part nurture. It is the stitched and hand made objects that evoke the most memories. The crocheting of my maternal grandmother and the embroidery of my father's mother. The household objects and clothing sewn and knitted by my mother.
In fact any of the textiles we find can trigger emotion not least the bundle of dusters and dish clothes tied together and labeled, why only she knew.
One of my most precious finds is a leather needle case with contents for mending stocking. The gilt inscription under the Blackpool Tower says simply ' 'Darn it'. This I have carried with me ever since.

If you want to get some child memories then it's too much necessary to keep touch with all old things which you played in your childhood. I am happy to read your article that you have stay at your parents house and remember many new things. Thank you so much for provides authentic info.
